I love French Toast. It's also incredibly easy to make. For a healthier version, use whole wheat slices of bread. Also, top your French Toast with nuts or fruit. Add a glass of orange juice to your meal for an extra boost of immunity.
I'm totally obsessed with French Toast, but I've never actually made it. I always ate it at school or home and it was something I looked forward to. For my breakfast tomorrow, however, I had to have French Toast.
I also sprinkled sugar cinnamon on my toast for an extra kick (cinnamon is actually good for you). I added walnuts and raisins on the side. Of course, you can't forget the syrup either. French Toast wouldn't be the same without it! I still love Aunt Jemima syrup the best because it has a buttery taste.
You're really getting into the cooking blogs. Why not post some of these pics on flickr. hehe, I keep bugging you about flickr.
ReplyDeleteNicely done!
ReplyDeleteLorie, are you being sarcastic? hehehehehe It was an awesome breakfast.
ReplyDeleteJeff, I would like to add pics to flickr, but I didn't think I had any that were good enough yet! Yeah, I've only had time for cooking until we go on our next photo walk!! =)
I wasn't being sarcastic! =(
ReplyDeleteI was serious - the french toast looks like it came out pretty good. Try making pancakes.
