I ate here sometime last year with co-workers and decided to return again. Nimitz B-B-Q is a Korean restaurant located near Honolulu International Airport. The food is incredibly reasonable and a great place for those of you who want to eat in a hurry. You can order out or enjoy a meal inside. There's a large menu on the wall with photos for those of you who need visuals.
The food isn't top-notch, but it's decent at Nimitz BBQ. And if you are strapped for cash, let me tell you, Nimitz BBQ is the way to go!
Before your meal arrives, you are given several side dishes.
The squid is amazing! It looks scary, I know, but I tried it and it is one of the best items on their menu. It's seasoned well.
I ordered the kimchee soup. When you have a cold, there's nothing like a hot soup. I would recommend the kimchee soup. It's a simple broth that's perfect for cold weather.
Nimitz BBQ is one of those places I enjoy once a while ... It's a restaurant that has been around for a very long time. I like supporting small businesses and it's nice to sit down once in a while to enjoy a good meal, so I continue to eat there.
