Tacos - A Quick and Easy Meal

Since my coconut soup was a disaster, I had to quickly decide on a quick and easy meal for dinner.  How can anyone go wrong with tacos?  It's one of the easiest, yet tastiest meals to put together!

If you do not eat beef, you can always make chicken or fish tacos too!

TACOS

1 lb. ground beef
1 taco seasoning pack (only 50 cents!)
lettuce
tomato
cheese
Hardshell tacos or tortilla wraps
sour cream (optional)
guacamole (optional)
refried beans (optional)

Brown the grown beef in a skillet.  Add taco seasoning, 3/4 cup water, and bring to a boil.  Simmer for 5 minutes.

Heat refried beans and tacos/tortillas.

Chop tomoates and shred lettuce.

The rest are in containers, so you can bring it to the table without having to do anything (ahhh, how nice!)

Of course, you also can't forget the hot sauce!

Tacos - an incredibly easy meal that you can indugle in without much guilt.  The next time you need to put together a fast and rather healthy meal, I'd highly recommend tacos.

  1. What happened? Have you become a food blogger instead? Looks like you're starting to re-create some of the meals we had to eat every week when we were young. You remember? Beef stew, tonkatsu then katsu-don, sloppy joes, ...
    hehehe =)
