Pizza Bob's - Haleiwa, Hawaii

Since Saturday has been absolutely hectic, we decided to eat out for lunch.  Instead of going to town like usual, we decided to head towards Haleiwa. I love driving towards Haleiwa because it feels much more laid-back and there are a ton of great places to eat at too.  It's very country-like towards the North Shore, which is quite the opposite of down-town Honolulu.

We chose to eat at Pizza Bob's for lunch because it's not the typical pizza place, such as Pizza Hut or Dominos, that you can find just about anywhere.  It's the first time I've heard about Pizza Bob's, an easy to find restaurant located at the Haleiwa Shopping center.

Price: $$

There's indoor and outdoor seating.  The decor is very 70s Hawaii, which I kind of like.  The chairs we sat in were also unusually humongous, which made me laugh.

A Pina Colada smoothie.  It tasted like it had ice cream in it.  It was really good.

Portuguese bean soup, a garden salad with garlic house dressing, and 2 slices of garlic bread ...$10.00
The salad with the house dressing and the garlic bread was excellent.  The Portuguese bean soup was a bit salty though.

Half - White Pizza - $12.50

The "White Pizza" is absolutely delicious.  The olive oil, garlic butter, and white Mozzarella cheese topped with basil, tomatoes, and red onions is a great choice if you plan to eat at Pizza Bob's.  A half size can feed two people, as it comes with four slices.

On Tuesdays, you get $5.00 off a regular or large pizza.

I enjoyed Pizza Bob's.  The service was also great.  We were quickly seated and the staff members were friendly and attentive.  You do have to be patient when waiting for your food, since it takes at least 20 minutes for the Pizza, but we didn't have to wait too long.

I had a great lunch.
